The nice weather brought out the numbers for Round Six of the NFCC 10 Series on P170/10 – despite 90% of the course being fast and flat, the final 10% includes a descent under the A31 before a heartbreaking climb back up towards the Canadian War Memorial and Bolderwood… 21 riders signed up and nearly all of them made it over the line, with one DNS and one DNF among the ranks.

Liam Kemp (SUC) posted the fastest time on the night, crossing the line in 22m50s with NFCC’s Ben Schooling not far behind him in 23m02s. Hamish Hunter (VC Venta) added another podium place to his palmares finishing third, just two seconds of Schooling, in 23m04s. 

Home Rider Bev Hards (NFCC) was the fastest woman in 27m35s with Lizzy Stocker (BJW) not far behind in 28m06s.

It was great to see a tandem on the course with Joe & Emma Shepherd (NFCC) on their newly refurbished machine that they received as a wedding present – the duo crossing the line in 25m38s.

An excellent evening on the Forest with thanks going to all those that gave up their time to help make the evening such a success.
