Wessex Cyclocross Rd 4: Foxhills
Round 4 of the Wessex Cyclocross League was held at Foxhill motocross track near Swindon on Sunday.
The course was dry and fast, with a few off-camber sections and some steps up the side of a big hill. It was the anniversary of Emma Shepherds ‘s first cyclocross race and she showed just how much progress she has made by finishing 10th overall in the Women’s race and 6th Senior woman, just off the podium, while Catherine Pascoe managed 19th overall and 5th Vet 50-59 woman.
Joe Shepherd was the only other rider from NFCC this week and despite his love for lying down in the middle of a race, he stayed upright long enough to finish 28th in the Senior men’s race.
