NFCC Ten Series Rd.2: P182/10

On a grey, cold, and windy Tuesday evening in the New Forest, round two of the Ten Series welcomed riders to the P182/10 course from Landford. With a number of Club Members away on a training camp, the turnout was much lower than expected and only eight riders signed-up for the night.

There was drama before some riders even took to the start line with a slight mis-hap for Barry Hards in his warm up, ending with him having an unexpected coming together the tarmac. Fortunately, a local doctor came from their house and assisted before an ambulance crew arrived to ensure Barry had no major injuries – wishing you a very speed recovery!

With two riders marked as DNS, that left just six riders to cross the line and it was Army Cycling’s Alex Fortune covering the course in the fastest time of 00:24:12 with NFCC’s Sien van der Plank continuing her streak of being the fastest women, finishing in 00:28:37.

As always, a huge thank you to those that give up their time to ensure these events can take place – we couldn’t do it without you.
