Usual meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst. This week’s plan is our first venture out of the forest this year after being lulled into a dubious sense of optimism by a couple of days half decent weather.

Planned route is a 103Km trip to the Chalke Valley to see how their potholes compare to our local roads. I expect Knowle Hill after Broad Chalke to be rough based on some second-hand knowledge but most of us will be going slow enough up the hill to be able to take avoiding action!

Coffee stop planned for the ever popular Community Café in Broad Chalke at around 55Km. Optional Second Coffee Club at rides end in Brock which may get more traction as there is no Six Nations this weekend. There will be a strict time limited rota to ride alongside Sean to listen to his gloating after Ireland’s demolition of England last week.
