Usual meet at 0850 for a 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road. With the onset of autumnal conditions this might be our last chance for a trip further afield. Plan this this week is for a trip north with a coffee stop at the Community Shop in Broughton. Please keep up the good work on registering in Spond by 0900 Friday so I can warn the café what to expect. Recommend having a warm jersey / gilet for the coffee stop as it’s outdoors. Also, a last chance to take in Dean Hill before the winter rides. This has been put in by request from another rider. I shall keep him anonymous in case others disagree with his choice and beat him with his Bus Pass! Earplugs are recommended for the ride as it also includes Pipers Wait so the language from Smithy might not be for delicate ears! Mudguards still optional as the roads are holding up pretty well.
