5th Anniversary Sunday Club Ride 20th August 2023
Yes, it’s been 5 years since we started running a sunday club ride. Thanks to all those who have dragged themselves out of bed on a Sunday and made the ride what it is today. Whatever that is.
I reckon we have run the Sunday ride on 250 occasions in almost all weathers, abolutely no clue how many riders have participated, We have endured some of the slowest pucture repairs in human history and a couple of crashes just to keep things fresh.
Mostly however we have had a chat at a modest pace and drank coffee, not always our own and eaten cake, not always our own. Happy days.
In a nod to the ‘historic’ anniversary, this weeks route follows the same one as that of Ride #1 up the majestic Bolderwood Col then generally west/South then east back to Setley ridge cafe as has become tradition.

Annoyingly this unprecedented, momentous occasion clashes somewhat with the Womens football world cup final which despite my plea’s they have refused to move. Hopefully we’ll get a few turn up in any case.
