Usual meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst. After last week’s adventure into a stretch of unplanned off-roading this week is guaranteed tarmac the whole way. Planned route is 120Km to the Chalke Valley which should be navigable now that the annual History Festival has passed.

Coffee stop planned for the Chalke Valley Stores in Broad Chalke at around 56Km. From memory there was a water in Edmonsham plus the CoOp in Alderholt if more water required.

For those who have not seen the chat on Spond next week (12^th July) is an Isle of Wight circuit so if you’re interested get booked on the 0900 Lymington to Yarmouth ferry before it’s full and return on the 1705.
