With weekend club rides looking unlikely here is a bonus gravel / mountain bike ride for New Years Day. Start time is a kindly 1100 to allow for temperatures to rise and hangovers to clear.

Usual meeting place at the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.

Route plans are fluid, but provisional plan is 55Km around the forest with approximately two thirds off road. If you’re planning to join en route please send a message in Spond so we don’t change the route before any planned rendezvous’.

We could divert for coffee / pub stop in Birley at around 33Km or do same in Brock at rides end depending on the mood and where might be open.

All off road bikes welcome, we will go at the slowest rider’s pace which might be me as I’ll be on my MTB whilst my gravel bike is repaired. Faster riders will be volunteered for gate duty where they will be rewarded with heartfelt thanks.
