Consent to Photographing of Children 

 

 

Amongst our members there are professional photographers and keen amateur photographers who regularly photograph riders competing in our club events.   Some of those photographs will occasionally appear in our club newsletter or on our club web-site.

New Forest Cycling Club recognises the need to ensure the welfare and safety of young people in sport and accordingly a child protection policy forms part of club rules.

In accordance with that policy the club will not take or publish photographs, video or other images of young people without the consent of the parents/carers and the rider.  Events are however run in public spaces and the club does not undertake to control the activities of the general public.

In accordance with advice given by NSPCC we will not publish a child’s name in conjunction with a photograph and will attempt to ensure that images are used solely for the purposes for which they are intended.

To allow those policies to be complied with, will the parent/carer and the rider both please confirm their consent or refusal by signing below and deleting the words that do not apply.

 

1)        Parental Consent.

2)         Rider Consent.
